The SequenceThe Fibonacci sequence is simply the series of numbers in which each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers. For example, the very start of the sequence goes: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8... It was invented by Leonardo Pisano Bigollo, more commonly known as Fibonacci. This sequence forms a spiral, and a pattern of numbers that can be found throughout. From sea shells, to flowers, and weather patterns, the fibonacci sequence can be found all throughout nature. In this project, Chris decided to paint Ontario flowers with petals corrosponding to the Fibonacci numbers, so flowers with 1 petal, 3 petals, 5 petals, and so on.
